Welcome!
Founded in 1976 by the celebrated pianist, composer and educator,
Nicholas Van Slyck,
Cambridge’s New School of Music has established a lasting reputation for high-quality music instruction open to all ability levels and ages. Our faculty members have the highest credentials as musicians and as trained and experienced teachers. They include recording artists and international performers, while many have multiple graduate degrees, and perform several musical styles or instruments. All of our teachers have a lifelong commitment to the art of teaching, and a love for working with a wide range of students and ability levels.
NSM offers classes for all ages, from infants to teens to seniors. Click any of these links,
