Join us in front of Boloco on Mount Auburn Street on August 28th from 5-7pm for free smoothie samples and coupons for heavily discounted Burritos! We will stamp the hands of those wearing green and arriving green and provide information about special "Bike & Burrito" themed incentives our businesses have come up with to reward you for going green on this Walk/Ride Friday! We will also have free bike parking, music and treats! All are welcome to attend as this event is free and open to the public.

Boloco is certified by the Green Restaurant Association and utilizes, among other things, compostable corn cups, bamboo bowls, and “spudware” (potato starch silverware). Boloco has been composting at two locations (including Harvard Sq.) since early 2009 and has plans to expand to all 16 restaurants in the near future.
As the main sponsor of Bikes and Burritos, Boloco will be selling their wide variety of globally-inspired burritos for $3 from 5 to 7 PM. In addition, Boloco will provide free smoothie samples outside their restaurant located at 71 Mt. Auburn St.
Boloco is also a sponsor of Boston Bikes and participates in the city’s Bike Fridays, which encourage commuters to “go green” and bike to work.
Later in the evening, Boloco will be kicking off their new, late night, weekend hours with a $3 burrito from 11 PM until 2 AM.
Cardullo’s will be offering green participants free green tea bars and will be selling Cardullo’s themed reusable canvas shopping bags for 50 percent off.
