The Academy at Harvard Square, located in Cambridge and originally named HSA (Harvard Square Academy), is an educational services institution catering to English learners specializing in ESL (English Speaking, Writing,..) as well as TOEFL & SAT test preparation. The Academy is the learning center of JG Corporation which aims at social development through human development.

The Academy has proudly provided TOEFL preparation services to many students since 2006 and ETS has authorized The Academy as one of ETS official TOEFL Centers. The Academy considers TOEFL as one of the most effective curriculum of academic English teaching and has committed its R&D resources to publish SEI TOEFL books in 2010. Improved student scores in the TOEFL test as well as their increased confidence level in general have proven the quality and effectiveness of our program.

The Academy’s curriculum also includes fundamental English training, particularly Spoken English, Reading, and Writing. Our curriculum also includes highly academic study, such as Critical Reading and Academic Writing (SAT), and professional communications arts, such as presentation, pre-MBA class or Global Business, and Business Writing - formula-based writing (e.g., memos, letters, reports); situation-based writing (e.g., managing customer complaints, starting your business).
