Opened in 1972 in the heyday of funky dressing, Oona’s has long been a local hotspot, beloved for its eccentric stock and low prices. Set back from Mass Ave, off a lush courtyard, Oona’s is vintage clubhouse hidden in plain sight and walking through the door is not unlike stepping through the wardrobe into Narnia, walking into Diagon Alley, or falling down the rabbit-hole. Recently revamped, the store now feels like an immersion experience in another time – both familiar and strange and full of forgotten treasures ready to be given new life.
