Arrow Street Arts has partnered with Liars and Believers to produce ArrowFest, an 11-day festival of performances celebrating Arrow Street Arts’ Grand Opening. Kicking off the Festival, Liars and Believers is proud to premiere Don’t Open This for three performances only, September 5 – 7. You don’t want to miss this immersive site-specific spectacle that takes over performance spaces throughout the venue, inviting you to wander freely through the show. You never know what you might encounter: music, masks, aerials, puppetry, magic, dance… and drinks.
Following Don’t Open This, there is a full week of shows featuring Boston’s and Cambridge’s best and brightest artists. Celebrity Series has partnered with ASA to curate a free lunchtime concert series Monday, September 9 -Thursday, September 12. Stop in for a bite from local eateries while taking in performances by artists from Celebrity Series’ Neighborhood Arts program. Musician Will Dailey, Boston dance legends Peter DiMuro and the Wonder Twins, and drag goddess Candace Persuasian highlight a full lineup of 200 artists with 40 performances of all kinds. There’s something for everyone, and tickets start at $5.
