The Harvard Square Business Association is pleased to announce that the Crimson Galeria Building and Revels RiverSing are both celebrating very special events on Saturday, September 28th, the magical day of the Autumn Equinox!
The completion of the renovation of the Crimson Galeria building, located at 57 JFK Street, prompted the property owner and tenants to come together to host a sampling event. Maharaja, Veggie Grill, An Nam, Core Power Yoga, Bonchon and Shake Shack will be providing complimentary tasty bites on Winthrop Street from 2pm – 5pm.
Partake of the sampling and then join RiverSing’s – Two Dragons Dancing Puppet Processional which is scheduled to leave at 4:45 PM from Winthrop Park, (located at 83 Winthrop Street) in the heart of Harvard Square. The processional will wend its way to the John W. Weeks footbridge on the banks of the Charles River where NIGEL the NIGHT DRAGON and DESMOND the DAY DRAGON will lead everyone in the Equinox Waltz.
Please join us on this special day, when daytime and nighttime are equal, accomplishments are acknowledged, good food is shared, unbridled joy is spread and the changing of the season is welcomed.
The incomparable David Coffin will preside over the singing at this family-friendly event, alongside performances by incredible musicians, Morris dance teams, activist street bands, and choirs. We might even see a spectacular sunset over the river!
