A Holiday Evening with Penni Layne

Penni Layne is a multi-faceted vocalist originally from Virginia and South Carolina. Graduating from Berklee College of Music, she has made her home the Boston area. Penni has had the pleasure of performing all over Boston in venues such as the iconic Wang Center, the Hynes Convention Center, the Boston Hatchshell, for private parties for Bob Kraft (of the Patriots), & The Emerson Majestic Theater, to name just a few. She has also had the privilege of performing all over the globe, for example, in Florence, Italy, Sydney, Australia, & even Paris, France at the famed Duc Lombards. With her songwriting, producer and arranging skills, and an understanding of the jazz idiom she considers herself another instrumentalist when performing jazz; aiming to bring the American Songbook to life with respect and integrity.
