Brattle Theatre Presents “Derrida”

Sakamoto wrote the opening theme for this intriguing documentary about the French philosopher Jacques Derrida, the founder of deconstructionism. Filmmakers Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering, no strangers to contentious subjects, create an appropriately metatextual portrait of Derrida… who is clear about his belief that no documentary can accurately portray him.
