Brattle Theatre Presents “Snake Eyes”

Sakamoto was really showing his range in 1998… having already scored the idiosyncratic portrait of queer British painter Francis Bacon, LOVE IS THE DEVIL, he then created the music for this over-the-top Brian De Palma/Nic Cage thriller. Cage plays Rick Santoro, a corrupt Atlantic City cop who finds himself at a crossroads when he has the opportunity to take on a high-profile murder case.
