Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts – Artists Talk
October 7, 2021 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
We are pleased to share our Fall Public Programs schedule. As we return to our galleries and offices in the Carpenter Center building alongside the students, staff, and faculty in Harvard’s Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies (AFVS), we have decided to dedicate our public programming this semester to the amazing group of artists who are serving as visiting faculty members in the department this year. Working across photography, participatory and performance-based practices, painting and drawing, and video, we are fortunate to have this inspiring group of artists in our community. We are delighted to be able to share their work with both our immediate community on campus, and with everyone in the Boston area, across the United States, and around the world. Most evenings will feature two artists presenting their work and taking questions from attendees.
We are thrilled to begin our series on October 7, 2021 with Dannielle Bowman, a visual artist working primarily with photography, whose exhibition What Had Happened was recently on view at the Baxter Street Camera Club of New York.
Each program will take place on Zoom and requires pre-registration. Closed captioning will be provided by the National Captioning Institute. Please contact ccva@fas.harvard.edu with any questions.
