Coffee with a Cause at 1369

The SART is comprised of local community organizations and law enforcement members who collaborate to spread awareness about sexual violence and improve the services a survivor receives after an assault. Our team would like to work with local coffee shops to host “Coffee with a Cause”: Conversations for Sexual Violence Awareness. Our vision is that two or three of our members would take over a table at different establishments for 2 hours at a specified date and time to engage with anyone who may want to learn more about sexual violence. It would be a time to learn more about support services and what community members can do to support survivors and end violence. We are not encouraging any disclosures in this setting though the team will be prepared to engage if it comes up.
