The Chicago Tribune called it “A Physical Manifestation of Beauty & Joy”. Karim Nagi returns to Boston and Club Passim to perform this original musical story that takes the audience on a rerouted tour in the Arab world & diaspora. Karim has deep routes in Club Passim, having produced 4 years of monthly Arabesque Mondays concerts from 2000-2004. Now based in Chicago, multi-instrumentalist and tradition bearer Nagi has recorded 14 albums, toured on 5 continents, produced his play Detour Guide, and has a TEDx Talk.
