Jazz Concert

Swedenborg Chapel is pleased to partner with the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard to bring you an evening of jazz. Hear iconic Georgian music reimagined at this spring concert. Giorgi Mikadze, pianist and Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music, will present famous beautiful melodies arranged for jazz trio, all drawn from Georgian films, cartoons, and theatrical music composed in the 20th century by Giya Kancheli, Nodar Gabunia, Sulkhan Tsintsadze, Revaz Laghidze, Shota Milorava, Bidzina Kvernadze, Djansug Kakhidze, and others.
