SUMMARY:Kat Wallace & Steven Manwaring perform Time (The Revelator) at Club Passim
DESCRIPTION:Dear friends\, longtime collaborators and now neighbors\, Kat Wallace (Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light\, Forsyth) and Steven Manwaring (Elissa Mielke\, Nora Meier)\, team up once again to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a legendary americana album\, Time (The Revelator).  This iconic album by Gillian Welch\, along with Dave Rawlings\, is the blueprint for folk duos\, with its dressed down demo-esque arrangements highlighting Gill and Dave’s interlocked acoustic guitars tangled under high and lonesome harmonies.  Kat and Steven will perform this album down all on a winter’s night\, singing these well-loved songs with the utmost reverence\, and including a star studded cast of Passim regulars and friends in the process.
