DESCRIPTION:CHART TOPPING CONTEMPORARY JAZZ SAXOPHONIST-MARION MEADOWS\nThirty four years since his recording debut as a leader\, Marion’s vision remains focused. “I try and offer a peaceful and loving approach through my music\,” shares the saxman\, who is also an accomplished photographer\, visual artist\, and avid cyclist. “Music is that one gift that enables us to get to a place where we can release the stresses of life and let the music take over.”\n\nMeadows musical endeavors are a who’s who of jazz.  Meadows studied with iconic heavy-weight saxophonists Joe Henderson\, Sonny Fortune\, and Dave Liebman. He has been a well-known sideman in his own right\, recording or performing over the years with Brook Benton\, Eartha Kitt\, Phyllis Hyman\, Jean Carne\, The Temptations\, Michael Bolton\, Angela Bofill\, Will Downing\, Bob Baldwin\, Chuck Loeb\, John Lee\, among many others.  His collaborations include The Temptations\, Stevie Wonder\, George Benson\, and Eartha Kitt.
