The Breakout Premise? Instead of the conventional ” how much pressure should I apply” parents should be asking, “How can I apply pressure so it benefits my child?”
About the authors: (note: Dr. Weisinger will be the sole speaker at this event)
Hendrie Weisinger, Ph.D. is a world-renowned psychologist and pioneer in th e field of pressure management. He has consulted with and developed programs for dozens of Fortune 500 companies and government agencies, and has taught in Executive Education and Executive MBA programs at Wharton, UCLA, NYU, Cornell, Penn State, and MIT.
Chris Thurber, Ph.D. is a board-certified clinical pyschologist, educator, author, and father. He earned his BA from Harvard in 1991 and a Ph.D. in clinical pyschology from UCLA in 1997. In 1999, after a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Thurber accepted a position as pyschologist and instructor at Phillips Exeter Academy, in seacoast New Hampshire.
