Patagonia Gear Repair Workshop w/Pizza

Wednesday, April, 2nd at 7 pm we are hosting a gear repair workshop at the
Cambridge Patagonia store (in Harvard Square, right around the corner from
Felipe’s). We’ll be learning from Patagonia experts how to repair “soft
gear” – think jackets and rain pants and sleeping bags. We’ll go over how
to repair broken zippers and snap buttons, basics of hand sewing, how to
put on gear tape for bigger tears, and also how to take better care of your
gear!

Feel free to bring your own broken gear to repair OR if you don’t have
anything that needs repairing we will have extra items from the HOC gear
cage that need some love and you can come and practice on those! If you
have any damaged Patagonia gear that isn’t soft gear, you can still bring
it and they will send it off to be fixed for free. We will also have HOC
patches for people to sew on gear so you can bring your undamaged clothes
and still get some sewing practice if you want! So many possibilities folks.

There will be pizza and (probably) drinks!! *You do not need to be a HOC
member to come to the event*, and please bring anyone you know who might be
interested!
