Rock Around the Clock

Jumping on the teenage bandwagon, Columbia Pictures produced this highly fictionalized version of the discovery of rock and roll. A big band manager (Johnston) gives up on jazz and goes looking for the next big thing… and he finds it in the form of Bill Haley and His Comets.
