Sommelier Wine Tasting with AJ Merritt

Join us to raise a glass to celebrate Black History Month by sharing in our opportunity to enjoy an evening at Bonde with one of the best sommeliers on the east coast, AJ Merritt.

AJ was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and studied Biology at St. John’s University. Since then, he has devoted himself to a prolific career in the & hospitality business and world of sommelierie in New York, and more recently in Boston and Maine. Recognized as one of the most influential African American sommeliers, he is renowned for his knowledge of great American wines and is always on the lookout for exciting new winemakers and up-and-coming vineyards in our country.

As someone who possesses an incredibly accessible approach to the world of wine, AJ knows how to put you at ease. You will share in his passion and delightful outlook while enjoying wines made from Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
