Now layer in some spitfire New Orleans trumpet and serpentine clarinet lines\, and you’ve got a sound that helped define American music—and still gets people smiling\, laughing and dancing. \nJosiah Reibstein & The Hubtones tap into that iconic sound with some of Boston’s finest traditional jazz musicians\, delivering swinging\, high-energy sets rooted in New Orleans-style jazz. With playful arrangements and a repertoire of classics and clever surprises\, the Hubtones serve up “trad jazz” that’s brassy\, bawdy and fun. \nAt Lou’s\, live music is always included. In the performance space\, we simply require a food and beverage purchase since full brunch service is offered.
