Winemaker Night: Jeff Cohn Cellars – Wine Tasting Class
April 30 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
| $75After graduating with honors with a degree in Hospitality Management and spending a few years in senior management positions, Jeff Cohn fell into the barrel of his passion for wine. After a first experience at Boordy Vineyards in Maryland, in 1993 he and his wife Alexandra decided to move to California, where he worked from 1996 as an oenologist for Rosenblum Cellars, then as Winemaker and Vice President of Winemaking and Production. But it wasn’t until 2006 that Jeff left his position to focus exclusively on his own vineyard. Passionate about the Rhône grape varieties and a specialist in Syrah, it was thanks to the creation of the Rockpile Road Zinfandel 2003, which ranked 3rd on Wine Spectator’s list of the 100 best wines that year, that Jeff Cohn became a Winemaker superstar. This Zinfandel was a coup not only for Jeff, but for the entire California wine industry, as no Zinfandel had ever appeared so high on the list before—in fact, no Zinfandel from California had ever cracked the top ten. So, if you want to discover and taste what makes Jeff Cohn the Master of Zin, Come and join us for a master class in Bonde Fine Wine around his wines and his vision.
This class is 2 hours long and costs $75, which includes a tasting of wine with light snacks. It is limited to up to eight participants.
