Join the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce as we recognize the commitment and contributions of outstanding women leaders in the Cambridge community. We are pleased that Jeanette Clough, President, and CEO of Mount Auburn Hospital, will be our keynote speaker. This event will recognize a number of inspirational women leaders from the Cambridge business, institutional, and nonprofit communities. Awardees will be selected from nominations submitted by Chamber members.

2019 Inspire Awards Recipients

       
Aine Hanly 
Amgen 

Aine tirelessly works to introduce and integrate new technologies and innovate thinking to Amgen’s manufacturing processes, ultimately enabling more efficient and more effective drug development. Under her leadership, the Amgen Massachusetts facility grew by several hundred staff members, and throughout that timeframe, Aine led the change management and worked to create a staff culture committed to success and delivering for patients.



Dr. Carolyn Turk
Cambridge Public Schools 

Dr. Turk has worked for the Cambridge School Department for over 30 years. She has served on numerous boards and commissions always with the desire to advance equal access and quality education to all. Most recently she has played an important role in the Pay Equity Commission of the City of Cambridge. This commission worked toward the early adoption and implementation Equal pay for women and minority groups in the City of Cambridge.



P.A. d'Arbeloff
MIT

P.A. leveraged her various professional experiences to grow the Cambridge Science Festival. She was a radio and television reporter and producer until 1991 when she became the national press director for the Tsongas for President campaign. P.A. was a press secretary for three successful Menino for Mayor campaigns, was a spokesperson for corporate and non-profit organizations, and was the executive director of the Boston Public Library Foundation before being appointed Director of the Cambridge Science Festival in September 2007.



Erin Lanciani
Sage Therapeutics

Erin joined Sage as one of the first 20-30 employees and has grown Sage to be over 600 people. She built the Cambridge based biotech from the ground up in collaboration with the other leaders of Sage. She holds the title of Head of HR and Organization strategy for a reason, she has created a strong company culture that has stood the test of growth. She truly leads by example: every day. She is never arrogant, she never lets her foot off the gas here and she never turns anyone away who needs her.



Kelly Flynn
Takeda Pharmaceuticals

Kelly Flynn has always answered the call to service. She served as an officer on the Central Square Business Association Board, this Cambridge Chamber Board, and organized her Takeda associates in various community service projects in Cambridge and beyond. Kelly has been raising funds for cancer research at Dana Farber for over a decade through the Pan-Mass challenge and has coached female runners to compete in the Boston Marathon, which she also completed herself.



Eva Martin Blythe
YWCA Cambridge

Eva has been a leader in the Cambridge community for over 10 years. She has been a strong advocate for social justice, racial justice, LGBTQ rights, women rights, and so much more. Her leadership has helped YWCA Cambridge grow and thrive. Through her work, our organization has been able to continue our strong programming efforts that include. Girls Only Leadership Development, Stand Against Racism, and so much more.
