| The Harvard Square Fridge in the Square has been moved from Church Street to Mass. Avenue. It is now located and being hosted by our good friends at First Parish Church. We are grateful to Trinity Property Management and The Sinclair for graciously hosting the Fridge since last December. Through generous donations from neighbors, businesses, family and friends, the HSBA has received contributions in excess of $11,000 which have been spent on maintaining and stocking both the fridge and the pantry. Sadly, it is not enough and the need is still great. Many restaurants are putting together take-out boxes with end-of-the-day remains and are stocking the pantry with dry goods. This is a wonderful way to eliminate waste that we hope will be replicated by as many eateries as possible. Donations can also be made by individuals by shopping for refrigerated items and dry goods or purging your cupboards at home. If you prefer, you may send a contribution to the HSBA and we will do the restocking for you.
