La Catrina – Atlixco is a monumental artisanal piece created using the cartonerÃa technique, standing 4 meters tall with a dimension of 35m³, representative of Mexican and Atlixco culture. This artwork pays homage to Posada’s iconic calavera illustrations while showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Mexico and the Atlixco region. It will be on display though Monday November 4th in Harvard Square.
The One Reason Garden Bar at The Charles Hotel celebrated The Dia de Muertos with the unveiling of the Monumental Catrina exhibit (4 meters tall) from Atlixco, Puebla on Sunday, October 27th.
