Each year, Harvard Square’s Patios in Bloom season officially kicks off when our beautiful Victorian Flower baskets are installed on lampposts throughout the Square.

Follow the Honey is available for al fresco dining for those who would whimsically like to bring in their own catered party after hours for a concierge apis mellifera experience. Follow The Honey is a lovely venue for such an imaginaire.
Henrietta’s Table will have outdoor dining and will be featuring drink specials for the Patios in Bloom season:

The Red House, at 98 Winthrop Street will most be open for patio dining on May 25th and beyond. As a regular feature, we have 2 for $1 oysters from 3 to 6pm, and $1 oysters til close throughout the restaurant. Our new outdoor raw bar & patio are the perfect place for folks to stop in for lunch, cocktails & oysters in the afternoon, and dinner in the evening. We have a full bar & 16 beers on draught.
Rialto will be offering their a la carte menu and bar menu. Great for a bite and cocktails overlooking Charles Square.
Russell House Tavern will be offering $1 oysters after 11am everyday on their patio.
Tory Row offers great outdoor dining and the best people-watching in the square! Patio favorites include wine carafes for $16, red or white sangria pitchers for $15, and our new Snakebite (made with Cambridge-based Bantam Cider and Shipyard Ale) for $9.
The garden at UpStairs on the Square, overflowing with owner Deborah Hughes’ brightly-colored flowers and greenery, is perfect for al fresco dining on the pedestrian-only Parisian streetscape of Winthrop Street. UpStairs welcomes you at lunch, brunch and dinner with a full menu and the new small bites food bar menu on comfortable Parisian bistro chairs and French enamel tables. Check our Facebook page to hear about pop-up outdoor grill nights, featuring everything from street food like arepas and dogs to grilled half lobsters and ribeye steaks for dining en plein air.
