Well, wow. We were thrilled to learn that The Boston Globe Magazine included Salt & Olive on its “Best of the New” list — a roundup of “140 awesome restaurants, shops, people, ideas, and diversions” that hit the area in 2014.
We’re honored to be in the company of some of our favorite spots such as Alden & Harlow, State Park, and La Brasa, and we’re freshly inspired to create a space, both at 1160 Mass Ave in Cambridge and online, that offers just what you’re looking for — as well as some exciting discoveries.
Noting that salt, olive oil, and vinegar are the cornerstone flavors of Mediterranean cuisine, the magazine’s special issue states that that’s “exactly what Mary Taylor, a certified technical olive oil taster, sells at her chic boutique ….” (We’re going to ride that “chic” bit for a while!)
