“At the Sheraton Commander Hotel our guests are number one and feel the same way about the Commander. Guests who stayed at the historic and stately Sheraton Commander in the month of December, 2009 rated it the best Sheraton Hotel out of over 200 hotels in North America. The surveys are distributed at random and sent to past guests rating their stay in several key categories. Categories that way the heaviest are those relating to service and physical product. While this is the first time at number one for the Sheraton Commander, the hotel is consistently highly ranked among all Sheraton Hotels in the United States and Canada.
Rankings are based on questions which include the following:
The guests’ overall experience is weighed heavily and includes questions regarding the physical condition of the hotel, service during his or her stay, and experience in the hotel restaurant.
If the guest experience was less than perfect, did the hotel address the opportunity? Did the hotel resolve the issue to the guests’ satisfaction?
The value for price paid is another question that defines the Commander. The guests of the Sheraton Commander rank the hotel high in value.
SHERATON COMMANDER HOTEL SETS THE STANDARD
“While we are thrilled to have reached the top, we are not satisfied to sit on our laurels” said Jennifer Auyer, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Sheraton Commander. “The Sheraton Commander has always been synonymous with quality service and we continue to strive to better accommodate our guests and go above and beyond their expectations.”
Built in 1927 and inspired by our nation’s first president, George Washington, the Sheraton Commander Hotel has been a long standing tradition in Harvard Square. Upon arrival guests are greeted by a replica of Hudon’s famous Washington statue, which stands looking toward the spot in Cambridge Common where Washington first inspected his troops. As guests enter the hotel they immediately notice the majestic Czechoslovakian Crystal chandeliers that adorn the ceiling, the sleek marble floors on which they walk and the modern leather furniture and mahogany woods that furbish the lobby. These are but a few of the many lasting impressions the Commander leaves its guests.
The hotel recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation of the guestrooms, meeting rooms, lobby, and outdoor façade. During this endeavor we added the Link@Sheraton powered by Microsoft, a gathering place where guests can interact with family, friends, and each other. Guests will experience all the comforts of home while staying at the Sheraton Commander, their home away from home.
