The Comedy Studio Grand Re-Opening Street Party

October 13th, 2024

2pm – 6pm

JFK Street, Harvard Square

The Harvard Square Business Association, in partnership with The Comedy Studio, is excited to announce The Comedy Studio Grand Re-Opening Street Party on October 13, 2024 from 2pm to 6pm on JFK Street in the heart of Harvard Square. This free, family-friendly event features national headlining comedians Eugene Mirman (“Bob’s Burgers”), Gary Gulman (“Depresh”), and Jenny Zigrino (“Comedy Central, HBO”), a street wide expanded beer garden hosted by El Jefe’s Taqueria, distinctive vendors, delicious food and so much more.

The Theo Griffin Experience, a local band known for their funk, soul, blues and varied repertoire of compositions, will kick off the festivities 2pm. At 3pm, the headliners will be interviewed on stage at 3pm by veteran comedy reporter Nick Zaino. Our MC’s will then host a X Factor style One Joke Only comedy competition with the audience getting to choose their favorite local comedian of the afternoon! Complimenting the festivities will be a DJ, jugglers, contortionists, magicians and, of course, live comedy!

Sponsors for the event include Sam Adams, La Crema Wine, El Jefe’s Taqueria and the Harvard Square Business Association.

The party doesn’t end at 6pm; hilarity ensues with a VIP showcase where Gary Gulman, Jenny Zigrino and Eugene Mirman will perform on stage. They will be joined by a few of Boston’s best who are regulars at The Studio. Tickets and information can be found here.
