Her versatility from neo-soul/R&B to jazz\, pop\, classical/opera and rock is unmatched. In a Boston Globe feature\, music critic Jon Garelick asks: “Is there anything Debo Ray can’t sing?” as well as describing her ”emotional expression and charismatic stage presence”. \nBefore becoming known for her genre-bending contemporary R&B music\, Debo established herself as an in-demand session vocalist\, member of NEA jazz master Terri Lyne Carrington’s band Social Science\, music director for world music powerhouse Women of the World and even had a lead role in an opera with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra in 2023. She is an assistant professor at Berklee College of Music. \nIn early 2025\, Debo released her debut self-titled album of original contemporary R&B material which she co-wrote along with\, among others\, Grammy winning producer Prince Charles Alexander.  The album has received rave reviews worldwide and over 370\,000 streams on Spotify. Backed by a tight small-band ensemble\, I’ll present original compositions and arrangements that blend rhythmic Moz-Jazz grooves with improvisation\, storytelling\, and themes of social justice and climate awareness. The set aims to bring a warm\, soulful atmosphere\, celebratory yet reflective\, featuring electric and acoustic guitar\, vocals\, and dynamic interplay with the band.

DESCRIPTION:ABOUT THE ARTIST\nLuciano “Lucho” Pellegrini is an Argentinian-Italian musician\, producer and composer. He studied classical percussion and drums in Buenos Aires at Manuel de Falla Superior Conservatory\, and in SADEM between 2004 and 2014\, in addition to private lessons with other teachers. In 2016 he created Cincinnati Washboards\, the first Argentinian brand of percussion inspired by washboards. \nAs an artistic producer\, he produced the Swing City Sessions with more than 15 albums edited\, dedicated to the Buenos Aires jazz-swing scene.   In addition to having been touring with different bands in the USA\, Latin America and Europe\, also opened shows for artists like Ron Carter and Kenny Barron. He is currently part of Hot Shooters\, Swing City House Band and he works as a session musician with other artists. \nBRUNCH PERFORMANCE SPACE DINING\nSeating takes place at 11:30AM\, 12:00PM OR 1:30PM depending on your reservation time. With razor wit\, an engaging presence\, elegant poetry\, irresistible charm\, plus jokes\, Pamela Means’s “stark\, defiant songs” (New York Times) set the status quo and the stage afire. \nPamela’s commitment to interrogating social ills was fostered by her unique childhood. “As the adopted daughter of a white mother and black father\, I learned about dismantling systems of oppression from the inside out.” Pamela received her first guitar at the age of fourteen\, just after her mother died of cancer\, and it soon became Pamela’s primary vehicle for expression.
