Her versatility from neo-soul/R&B to jazz\, pop\, classical/opera and rock is unmatched. In a Boston Globe feature\, music critic Jon Garelick asks: “Is there anything Debo Ray can’t sing?” as well as describing her” emotional expression and charismatic stage presence”. \nBefore becoming known for her genre-bending contemporary R&B music\, Debo established herself as an in-demand session vocalist\, member of NEA jazz master Terri Lyne Carrington’s band Social Science\, music director for world music powerhouse Women of the World and even had a lead role in an opera with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra in 2023. She is an assistant professor at Berklee College of Music. \nIn early 2025\, Debo released her debut self-titled album of original contemporary R&B material which she co-wrote along with\, among others\, Grammy winning producer Prince Charles Alexander.  The album has received rave reviews worldwide and over 370\,000 streams on Spotify. DESCRIPTION:Patchwork is a Boston-based dj\, who stitches together dubby\, cosmic and jazzy sounds on vinyl from different genres\, orbiting around disco.  As part of the Spin the Bottle crew\, she throws parties with three of her friends and has a dance party at State Park Bar on the second Saturday of each month.  She’s been playing consistently for the past two years\, making memories at bars and lounges\, such as Desnuda Cocina and Gray’s Hall as well as a few places in Japan.  Alongside the music\, she’s a fashion designer who sews many of the pieces she wears for dj sets\, often last minute.  Through music she likes to share a positive energy and feeling of nostalgia with others.

Second chapter was spent climbing the mountains of the Boston music and nightlife scenes in the Cambridge/Somerville areas. Currently enjoying the 3rd chapter living in Melrose with his wife and son and still searching for treasures and slaying dragons with the magic of the music.. \nAs part of Boston’s legendary SOULELUJAH crew (Strictly vinyl- mostly 45’s.) DJ Johnny Stevens has been moving dance floors for years. Deep soul\, raw funk\, classics and curveballs\, frequent flyers and forget-me-nots. Selected spins of tunes that groove\, whether it was stamped on wax recently or many moons ago.
