Harvard Book Store and the Center for Black Maternal Health and Reproductive Justice welcome Khiara M. Bridges—Professor of Law at UC Berkeley School of Law and author of Reproducing Race—for a discussion of her new book, Expecting Inequity: How the Maternal Health Crisis Affects Even the Wealthiest Black Americans. She will be joined in conversation by Ndidiamaka Amutah-Onukagha—Julia A. Okoro Professor of Black Maternal Health in the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine, and Founder and Director of the Center for Black Maternal Health and Reproductive Justice, and of the Maternal Outcomes of Translational Health Equity Research Lab. Opening remarks will be made by Representative Marjorie Decker and Massachusetts State Senator Liz Miranda.
