ABOUT THE ARTIST
Elise Roth is an American-born, London based vintage jazz vocalist specialising in tunes from the 20s, 30s, and 40s. Her musical influences include Ivie Anderson, Annette Hanshaw, and Judy Garland, and is often compared to Judy vocally. She delights in bringing lesser known songs to a wider audience – you’ll be sure to hear a few old favourites as well, but always performed with a characteristic twist!
Having spent a near equal amount of formative years in both Boston and London, she’s thrilled to be playing with some of her favourite collaborators in MA to showcase some of her favourite songs.
