In service to Harvard Square, we offer a temporary measure for moments of transition, helping vacant commercial spaces retain an appearance of optical decorum. Imagine (@snobs._)’s creations in a manner like a band-aid. For the purpose at hand, (@snobs._) focuses mainly on digital creations that only require a thin glass layer between the commercial volume and the street front it occupies.
(@snobs._) projects use various mediums, including public intervention, exhibition design, sculptural installation, set design, graphic design, and symposiums, if and only if the property owner desires them.
Pin Sangkaeo (@pin._) and Benson Joseph (@bensonj_media), who call themselves (@snobs._ ), are designers, creative directors, and future scholars who share a (snobby._) desire for experimental research that bridges academia and the public within the existing infrastructures of consumer culture. The pair holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from Syracuse University and a Master of Design Studies (MDes) in Mediums from Harvard Graduate School of Design. (@snobs._) is the professional practice they are building in Cambridge, Massachusetts, a place they call home.(@snobs._)’ s works have graced the international scene in countries such as Switzerland, Serbia, and Thailand. In the United States, the pair continues to create and exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art, Everson Museum, and Syracuse University. Locally, (@snobs._) made the rounds at Harvard Art Museums, Harvard Yard, Smith Campus Center, Science Center, Harvard College Women’s Center, Harvard Asia Center, Harvard Ceramics Studio, Harvard Graduate School of Design, Memorial Hall, MIT Media Lab, Downtown Crossing, Boston Common, and Harvard Square, among many others.
