Two voices meeting, colliding, connecting.
Doubles moves through spatialized instrumental pairings, opposing musical gestures, and works drawn from childhood objects, online communication, and social change. Dialogue arrives as cooperation, tension, echo, and interruption. Blues, bluegrass, and contemporary classical influences run through the instrumental and vocal duos, with student performers joining in.
The program closes with two sextets for full ensemble, widening the conversation from intimate exchange to shared musical space.
