A Grammy-nominated, musician-led string ensemble from Portland, Maine, where the players share the artistic and administrative leadership alike. Palaver’s mission is to strengthen and inspire community through music, guided by a passion for engaging new audiences, addressing social justice issues, and amplifying underrepresented voices. The ensemble presents a full season of live concerts and serves hundreds of students every year.
This program features acclaimed musician Liz Knowles as performer, arranger, and composer, alongside a quartet of Palaver musicians.
