Join us on June 25th for a screening of “We Are Here: A Brown Girls Climb Film”. Produced by Noir Films and supported by WHUT (PBS Howard), this film highlights Brown Girls Climb local leaders and community members across the East Coast. It shares their journeys from city gyms to outdoor crags, the power of mentorship, and the importance of creating welcoming, supportive spaces in climbing.
This film is just a glimpse of their broader work, as Brown Girls Climb is currently active across 10 regions nationwide, building community, expanding access, and creating pathways into the outdoors.
Doors open at 7pm; food, drinks, and a chance to win some Patagonia gear will be available inside.
