Maker Pop-Up: Hacker Creations at Lovepop Harvard Square
Join us at Lovepop Harvard Square on March 14 from 12–4 PM for a special maker pop-up featuring Hacker Creations, an artist whose work transforms obsolete computer technology into striking visual compositions and exciting earrings!
Using discarded electronics, each piece begins as a kind of treasure hunt— the components are re-imagined into compositions that explore color, pattern, and form. Abstract compositions have evolved into Colorful Laser Cut Earrings that come in bright colors including Electric Green just in time for St. Patty’s Day March 17th. Inspired by Modernism, Hacker Creations combines reclaimed computer parts with altered imagery to create works built on contrast, balance, and repetition—revealing the hidden beauty and creative potential inside outdated technology.
This pop-up is part of Lovepop Harvard Square’s effort to bring creativity and community together. Our store is becoming a welcoming space for artists, makers, poets, and community voices to share their work and ideas.
Stop by, meet the maker, and explore the art of turning yesterday’s technology into today’s inspiration.
Are you a local artist, maker, poet, or creative group interested in hosting a pop-up or community event?
We’d love to connect—reach out and help us keep creativity flowing in Harvard Square.
