The Harvard Square Business Association is delighted to celebrate Hanukkah by serving complimentary latkes on Saturday, December 13th at the 18th Annual “Everyone Loves Latkes” Party! Hot and delicious potato pancakes will be sampled between 1:00pm – 2:00pm on Brattle Plaza (in front of Bluestone Lane at 27 Brattle Street).
This year’s latkes will be prepared by Executive Chef Jason Bond of Lou’s, Harvard Square’s newest restaurant. These vegetarian potato treats will include fresh apple sauce made with Empire Apples sourced from Verrill Farm in Concord, MA and sour cream made from cream from High Law Farms in the Berkshires. In keeping with tradition, fresh jelly donuts and gold chocolate coins will be provided. Joe Kessler and his Klezmer band, Klezwoods, will be on hand to entertain the crowd with traditional songs of the season.
