Harvard Square mourns the loss of our friend, James Lappin.

James Lappin passed away yesterday after suffering two major heart attacks last Friday.

His “family” is pictured here around a memorial wheelchair we put in front of the Cambridge Trust Company where you would commonly see him in this spot .

A fixture in the square for many years. We stood out there today for a few hours and many stopped and spoke about him.

We are leaving the wheelchair there with hopes of his friends will take notice.
