September is Revival Month in Harvard Square

Famous and Infamous, the Fourth Annual Open Archives Tour

For the fourth year in a row, Cambridge archives will open their doors and invite the public in to see the rare items that are rarely seen. Residents and visitors will be given the opportunity to see inside twelve archives. The fourth annual Open Archives Tour will feature tours inside cultural, City, Harvard University and MIT archives on four separate days.

This coming weekend the Harvard Summer School welcomes 5,000 students from all over the world to its programs. Two thousand of these students will be moving into Harvard dorms and houses on Saturday and Sunday, with the remaining commuting students checking-in on both this weekend and into next week to finalize registration.

The Sunday Parkland Games has been an initiative of the Charles River Conservancy to bring families to the parklands and offer fun and athletic activities— free of charge —on Sunday afternoons since 2009.

Tory Row 5K Road Race Becomes a Community Affair

Popular Harvard Square restaurant Tory Row announced today that their second annual road race, set for Sunday, June 3rd, has doubled in size this year. The race, which runs along historic Brattle Street and into the Huron Village neighborhood of Cambridge, has already filled its 600 runner capacity by encouraging teams from local businesses and nonprofits to join the field.
