Welcome to the 3rd Annual Winter Warmth Drive donation page! Thanks to the help of the Harvard Square Business Association, The Central Square Business Association, the Kendall Square Association and so many concerned people like yourself from Cambridge and beyond, we have raised close to $20,000 over the past two years to help the homeless of Cambridge. As jobs and housing become less secure, substance abuse more rampant and cuts in mental health services more common, more and more people are finding themselves without a warm place to rest their heads at night. With winter fast approaching and with many predicting extreme cold, the most vulnerable in our community are going to find themselves struggling for survival. Here is your chance to help.
This year our goal is to raise $15,000 that we will use to purchase sleeping bags to distribute to our homeless residents. These sleeping bags will help keep people warm during our bitter cold nights. At this time when more and more people are looking to make a difference for others, this is a chance for you to literally help keep people warm at night.
