35mm Screenings!
A 1970s television reboot that takes an appropriately over-the-top approach to re-envisioning the source material as a turn-of-the-millennium blockbuster, CHARLIE’S ANGELS works despite—or perhaps because of—it’s obvious excesses. With inimitable charm and comedic chops, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu ably play a trio of tongue-in-cheek female operatives, each the match of any James Bond—or Ethan Hunt for that matter.
Thursday: Double feature with MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE
