Kat Wallace & Steven Manwaring perform Time (The Revelator) at Club Passim

Dear friends, longtime collaborators and now neighbors, Kat Wallace (Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light, Forsyth) and Steven Manwaring (Elissa Mielke, Nora Meier), team up once again to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a legendary americana album, Time (The Revelator).  This iconic album by Gillian Welch, along with Dave Rawlings, is the blueprint for folk duos, with its dressed down demo-esque arrangements highlighting Gill and Dave’s interlocked acoustic guitars tangled under high and lonesome harmonies.  Kat and Steven will perform this album down all on a winter’s night, singing these well-loved songs with the utmost reverence, and including a star studded cast of Passim regulars and friends in the process.
