Legendary cinema stylist De Palma meets cinema’s greatest golden boy Tom Cruise and, along with an able cast of supporting character actors, creates one of the biggest action franchises in film history. Ethan Hunt (Cruise) is a rising star in the IMF, a secretive international spy agency, who watches his whole team get taken out in a clear act of betrayal.
